Principal Planner

Everything I know about weddings I learned somewhere else first.

I began with a degree in art history from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, examining how culture and context shaped what each historical era defined as beautiful. Growing up in the South, the connection to our history lived on in heirlooms, in stories, and in places. Of course, that experience shapes how I approach design, how I connect with the families who graciously invite me into their lives, and my instinct for hospitality.

After college, I worked as a litigation paralegal on complex class action cases, where meticulous preparation and procedural rigor were the standard. Over nearly a decade of case management, I honed the ability to anticipate issues before they surfaced — a discipline that allows me to hedge against problems before they impact the experience.

From there, I moved into the creative world of Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, working alongside makeup artists as an Account Executive. I managed talented artists across four Southern states and watched as our education team translated emerging runway trends into real-world application before they reached the mainstream. I saw firsthand what it meant to operate inside a culturally relevant brand with its iconic founder still at the helm. Working behind the scenes with privately owned department stores beautifully reinforced that relationships built on trust mattered.  I learned how presentation transforms experience — and from Bobbi, that “pretty” is powerful.

Today, that background shapes every celebration we produce. The result is weddings that feel considered, layered, and resonant.

Virtual Planner

Kallie has been working alongside Renee since 2021 and now leads as our Virtual Planner. Clients quickly notice her lightning-fast responses, steady warmth, and the way she manages to keep things light while still getting it done. Behind the scenes, she oversees vendor day schedules, bookings, referrals, payments, due dates, and timelines — along with the countless administrative details that keep every celebration moving forward. Exceptionally organized and deeply dependable, she is often the steady presence keeping everything on track before anyone realizes there was something to manage. At home, she’s a wife to Ethan and a mom to four boys — yes, four — which explains both her stamina and her calm.

Production Staff

Our production team ensures every celebration runs seamlessly across each space — from the Getting Ready cottages, to transportation, to the ceremony and reception locations. We view every setting as a stage, and they are the hands that ensure it is ready before the first guest arrives. From styling and steaming to carefully measuring tabletop elements and managing on-the-ground transitions, they make certain each area is polished, prepared, and photo-ready when the doors open.

Our Approach

a framework designed for what can't be planned.

My favorite part of a wedding day is never the obvious moment.

It's more of the “I can’t believe this is my life” expression as a bride walks through the reception space with her parents and the groom for the first time — before guests step inside. It's the stillness after I close the back door to the Seaside Chapel, when the couple has five uninterrupted minutes alone before the petal toss, letting “We just got married!” settle in.

It’s finding the father of the bride, now a trusted partner sharing one of his greatest life moments as he stands back, surveying the reception with pride. The late-night conversation with parents in an empty reception space (which was also their backyard), at midnight, when the music has stopped, but the conversation is so good.  Those are the full-circle moments not always found on the timeline, but they matter.

I design with those possibilities in mind, and lovingly protect space for them wherever they may show up.

The most meaningful parts of a celebration are often the ones not scheduled — they arrive in the quiet moments when all has been handled with calm, steady hands.

We Believe:

Structure creates ease.
Design serves your story.
Guests should feel guided.
Where matters as much as how.
Taste is personal, and so is our process.

Renee, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for listening to the story of our family, guiding our decisions to match what we wanted to communicate, and bringing together the most perfect wedding day for Jake and myself.

We would not change a thing!
